The Independent food critic Roopa Gulati placed Bokhara Brasserie in the top ten Indian restaurants in Britain, an accolade which is testimony to our dedication to authenticity and excellence.

We combine fresh ingredients with Indian spices to produce authentic and delicious dishes. Tandoori cuisine in particular requires very specialist training and, as our kitchen is open, discerning diners are able to watch their meals being skilfully prepared by our expert team. The making of Tandoori naan
is a visual pleasure all in itself.

Bokhara, means “Warm Oven” and was the dream restaurant
of proprietor Vijay Bhagotra. It is a saluteto his love
of the food “back home”.

Many of the dishes are taken from the North West Frontier of India
and the chefs have been carefully selected and brought over to bring
you a slice of the real Indian taste.

The Bokhara Brasserie opened in 2001 and has since been named one of the top ten Indian restaurants in the UK. It is consistently voted one of South Wales’ favourite Indian restaurants. On top of this, we were crowned at the British Curry Awards as the winner of the Best Curry Restaurant in Wales in 2008, 2009, 2011 and 2013!

We have also been honoured in the South Wales Echo Food and Drink awards 2014 as the best value for money Indian Restaurant in the region.

Wherever you are in Wales, or the UK, we have the pleasure of bringing our award winning food to you. Our van has a fully fitted kitchen, we even have a tandoor oven so you can surprise your guests with fresh, home-made naan bread or kebabs.

No job is to big for us and we will be happy to cater for any size party including large weddings or even festivals.
